The 600 sq. ft. canopy is a key part of NMSU-Alamogordo's Renewable Energy Program, where students gain hands-on experience by installing and connecting a photovoltaic system to the Grid. This project was facilitated by our detailed designs, covering the foundation and structural elements of the canopy. A Safety Cable System was also implemented to protect students during installation and maintenance, enhancing both their education and real-world readiness in renewable energy technology.
