NMSBvi Ditzler auditorium

As part of the extensive renovation initiative at NMSBVI, we focused on enhancing the structural design of the historic Ditzler Auditorium. Recognized on both the State and National Historic Registers, this building holds significant historical value. We were committed to preserving its legacy while upgrading its infrastructure to meet modern demands. Our team provided essential structural support services, crucial for integrating new HVAC units into the existing architecture. We conducted a detailed structural analysis to ensure these modern systems complement the auditorium's historic design without compromising its structural integrity. We also performed a comprehensive seismic evaluation to comply with the 2009 International Existing Building Code (IEBC) standards fora level 2 alteration. This evaluation is vital for strengthening the structure against potential seismic activity, thereby ensuring the safety of the building and its occupants.
