Stubbs Engineering provided structural design services to NMMI, to modernize the building and make it ADA compliant. Marshall Hall houses an infirmary, police station, and clinic making it a category IV building. This means it needs to remain functional during any man-made or natural disaster. The building did not meet these structural requirements. Stubbs was tasked with upgrading the building to meet the requirements, as well as the addition of an elevator to the existing building.
