Our structural design services played a key role in the comprehensive renovation of this athletic facility, expertly balancing historic preservation with modern enhancements to improve efficiency and accessibility. The project began with a thorough building evaluation to ensure that our design respected the building's historical aesthetics, as it is part of the National Register of Historic Places.To maximize functional space without major additions, we expanded the main entry lobby, office, and locker room areas into the existing gym space. The renovation included significant enhancements, such as new administrative areas, a refurbished gymnasium, upgraded restrooms, and weight training rooms, as well as offices for training staff and coaches. We also added new locker rooms to support the sports teams and introduced public spaces like a VIP Lounge, Honor Room, and conference rooms. Furthermore, we designed two elevators and a mezzanine to provide additional office space, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and modern design.
