Las Cruces Sun News

We designed the Las Cruces Sun-News building to serve the reporting, editing, circulation, and advertising departments in a modern newspaper office. The 7,518 sq. ft., two-story, wood-framed building features a cantilevered balcony overlooking the lobby, promoting openness. A rooftop patio and garden provide additional spaces for relaxation and creativity. Integrating the original steel-framed sign with the new structure preserves historical elements while embracing modern design. The layout supports efficient workflow, ensuring the Sun-News team can effectively continue their journalistic endeavors.
