El Paso Zoo Reptile House
We provided the structural designs for the El Paso Zoo Reptile House as part of the Quality-of-Life Bond project, concentrating on critical structural modifications and repairs. To mitigate damage from excessive deflection, we designed screen walls that effectively support the cantilevered roofs. Additionally, the building's exterior received creative enhancements, featuring a sculpted tortoise head as a focal point and photo opportunity, along with concrete tortoise feet sculpted at each of the building's four corners.
