We provided structural design services to support the expansion of Curry County Jail, addressing the need for increased capacity due to overcrowding. This expansion adds an additional 22,000 sq ft, incorporating48 new bed spaces to house more inmates effectively. Key elements of the project include the renovation of the booking area and upgrades to the HVAC system in the original housing section for improved climate control and efficiency. Additionally, the design features a new Sally Port and housing pods, which are essential for enhancing security and operational functionality within the facility.
