We provided designs for a new debris and volume dam to address the challenges posed by heavy rainfall and debris flow into a high ridge channel, which previously caused a breach. To prevent future overflow, the dam's design incorporates multiple features: various cast-in-place discharge towers of different sizes, concrete splash pads, a cast-in-place concrete spillway, retaining walls, and several concrete box culverts in varying sizes. These elements work together to effectively manage water and debris, ensuring the channel remains secure during heavy rainfall events.
