Parkland Middle School

Parkland Middle School

Stubbs Engineering provided structural design services for an addition and renovation to the existing middle school campus. The school did not have a large area of land available for the addition, so additions were made to three sides of the school. To ensure the school could remain functional during construction, four separate phases were created to limit disruptions. The 62,350 sq. ft. addition included; an addition to the front entrance, four science classrooms, life skills classrooms, and STEM labs. A two-story addition was designed in order to connect the existing classroom wing to the new addition.
