Stubbs Engineering provided structural design services for Lordsburg High School. The upgrade consisted of a 32,827 sq. ft. free-standing, single-story steel-framed structure and outdoor learning area. Students of Lordsburg High School needed to be provided with all opportunities and amenities of a larger school, in a smaller facility. To accomplish these central circulation spaces were designed as column-free spaces, allowing versatility in daily use. The Commons area serves as a stage, band/choir rehearsal area, library, and cafeteria, as the needs change daily.
